Property Guardian, a leader in wildfire risk analytics and mitigation intelligence, has announced a strategic partnership with Allied Disaster Defense, a California-based provider of wildfire prevention and home hardening services. Through this collaboration, Allied Disaster Defense will utilize Property Guardian’s parcel-level risk reports and its active wildfire monitoring platform, Property Guardian Overwatch, to expand its mitigation services and support growth in wildfire-exposed communities.

Under the terms of the partnership, Allied Disaster Defense will integrate Property Guardian’s Wildfire Risk Insight Reports into its client assessments. These reports offer detailed insights into a home’s specific wildfire vulnerabilities, including structural conditions, defensible space, surrounding vegetation, and topography. The analytics will inform Allied’s strategies for home hardening, vegetation management, and the application of long-term fire retardants, enabling homeowners to prioritize improvements that enhance property survivability and insurability.

Additionally, Allied will license Property Guardian Overwatch, an intelligence platform that delivers real-time wildfire monitoring and 1-to-14-day spread forecasts. This technology will provide Allied with precise visibility into which client properties and neighborhoods face the highest risk, facilitating the prioritization of on-the-ground responses, outreach efforts, and re-application of long-term fire retardant.

Pat Blandford, Founder & CEO of Property Guardian, commented on the partnership, stating, “Allied Disaster Defense is exactly the kind of partner we love to support — deeply rooted in the community, relentlessly focused on mitigation, and now ready to scale. By combining our advanced analytics and Overwatch’s active-fire intelligence with Allied’s home hardening and long-term fire retardant services, we’re helping them take a data-driven model and deploy it at scale across some of the most wildfire-exposed communities in the country.”

For Allied Disaster Defense, incorporating Property Guardian’s reports streamlines the process of demonstrating to homeowners and insurers how each mitigation project impacts a property’s wildfire profile. Vincent Lu, Director of Marketing for Allied Disaster Defense, added, “Our mission has always been to turn wildfire prevention into something proactive, practical, and scalable for homeowners. Property Guardian gives us the analytics backbone to do that at a much larger scale. Their reports help us explain risk in clear, visual terms, and Overwatch tells us where to focus when fires are burning. Together, we can serve more families, support our franchise and affiliate partners, and align more closely with what insurers need to see to keep coverage available.”

Allied Disaster Defense, based in West Covina, California, specializes in comprehensive wildfire prevention and home hardening services. Its offerings include wildfire risk assessments, defensible space creation, home hardening solutions, and long-term fire retardant application, which, when combined with structural and vegetation improvements, can reduce wildfire risk by up to 75%. The company’s team includes retired firefighters, wildfire prevention specialists, and mitigation experts who work with property owners, fire agencies, and insurers.

Property Guardian, a part of Green Shield Holdings, provides advanced wildfire analytics to carriers, MGAs, and insurance professionals for risk selection, pricing, and mitigation in wildfire-exposed markets. The company uses scientific methods and data partnerships to convert wildfire signals into actionable property-level insights that support underwriting and portfolio management across the insurance lifecycle.
