Patron Points Commits to Supporting Retailer Enablement for Altria Group’s 2026 Digital Trade Program

Patron Points Inc., a provider of loyalty and scan data solutions for the convenience industry, has announced its commitment to supporting retailers in preparing for the 2026 Altria Group Distribution Company (AGDC) Digital Trade Program (DTP).

Patron Points stated its readiness to support retailer enablement across all Tiers of the program without requiring additional development for the program’s anticipated changes. The 2026 AGDC DTP is positioned as an initiative designed to offer retailers opportunities to maximize profitability, enhance customer engagement strategies, and improve retail digital channels.

For retailers, reaching Tier 4 in the 2026 AGDC Digital Trade Program is described as a strategic advantage, allowing for maximized benefits and new ways to connect with ATC21+ Customers, potentially leading to increased customer engagement and sales volume. Patron Points aims to facilitate retailers of any size in achieving this status.

Retailers who sign up with Patron Points are stated to be able to go live and be fully qualified for AGDC’s DTP at Tier 4 when it officially launches in December 2025. This approach aims to ensure a seamless transition and immediate access to the enhanced benefits from the launch date.
