Options Technology, a provider of financial services infrastructure, has launched AtlasInsight Capture 200, an updated high-fidelity packet capture software designed to deliver enhanced visibility into market data, trading, and network performance at 200 Gb/s using commodity infrastructure.
AtlasInsight Capture 200 represents a complete re-architecture of its capture engine, enabling sustained line-rate performance at 200 Gb/s. This allows clients to deploy high-performance, cost-efficient capture environments using standard commodity infrastructure, removing the need for proprietary hardware. AtlasInsight, initially known as Packets2Disk, was rebranded following its acquisition by Options in 2024.
Jon Axon, CEO and Founder of AtlasInsight, noted that Capture 200 offers a next-generation alternative to previous solutions like SolarCapture, providing significantly higher capture rates and performance. He stated this allows firms to implement reliable, high-throughput capture solutions for network monitoring and market data capture.
Danny Moore, President and CEO at Options, commented that the company aims to build more efficient infrastructure for global financial services. He added that Capture 200 seeks to eliminate barriers to high-speed packet capture, enabling clients to deploy powerful, cost-effective monitoring and analytics solutions with readily available hardware.
The software combines high-performance capture, decoding, and analytics within a single solution, aiming to set a new standard for visibility, speed, and flexibility across global trading infrastructure. This launch follows other recent initiatives from Options, including the introduction of PrivateMind for secure AI in finance, Bruce ATS Data for 24/5 equities market access, and the opening of its NY3 data center to support US trading infrastructure.
