One Inc, a digital payments network for the insurance industry, has announced the expansion of its ClaimsPay solution into the Canadian property and casualty (P&C) market, with availability planned as a Guidewire integration in Fall 2026.

This launch marks an extension of the strategic partnership between One Inc and Guidewire, where One Inc serves as Guidewire’s strategic partner for payments. The integration will be accessible through the Guidewire Marketplace, offering fully embedded, digital claims disbursements directly within insurers’ core platforms. With over 35 Canadian insurers utilizing Guidewire, this collaboration aims to bring modern payment solutions to the country through pre-built integrations with Guidewire Cloud, providing Canadians with faster and more optionality in receiving insurance claim payments.

Ian Drysdale, CEO of One Inc, stated, “The Canadian insurance market is ready for digital transformation. Our partnership with Guidewire enables Canadian insurers to adopt cloud-first workflows and modern payment solutions with ease, helping them reduce costs, accelerate claims resolution, and deliver a better experience for policyholders.”

ClaimsPay is designed to replace traditional manual processes with digital disbursement experiences, supporting payment methods such as Interac, virtual cards, PayPal, EFT, and direct deposit. These options are intended to reduce administrative effort, improve reconciliation, and offer flexibility for policyholders, vendors, and service providers, potentially lowering costs for insurers.

Will Murphy, VP, Marketplace and Technology Alliances of Guidewire, commented, “This extended partnership with One Inc represents a significant step forward in modernizing operations for our Canadian customers. By combining Guidewire core systems with One Inc’s digital payment technology, we’re helping insurers deliver faster, more convenient payment experiences to their policyholders. This expansion demonstrates our shared commitment to the Canadian market while addressing its unique complexities.”

One Inc Canada’s SVP and General Manager, Carolyn Anderson, highlighted the specific requirements of the Canadian market, including Interac, bilingual support, and localized compliance. She added, “Drawing on my experience bringing digital payments to companies in Canada, I’m excited to help insurers modernize claims. Our first Canadian client will launch in mid-2026.”

The pre-built integrations for Guidewire Cloud are developed by Guidewire, aiming for minimal implementation effort for Canadian insurers adopting ClaimsPay. The product will be enhanced to support both English and French, ensuring a localized experience for users. One Inc is a Guidewire Connections Diamond sponsor.
