Old Glory Bank has introduced the Veterans’ Premium Checking Account, a new offering designed to support America’s veterans. This account is available to veterans without a monthly fee and aligns with the bank’s commitment to privacy, security, and liberty.
The bank has waived the standard $19 monthly fee for this Premium Checking account, which includes a range of benefits. Key features of the account are no monthly maintenance fees, a current variable Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 1.25% (subject to change), and no minimum balance requirement. Account holders also receive a free debit card, online bill pay, and mobile check deposit capabilities. Access to approximately 40,000 fee-free ATMs is provided, along with up to four free out-of-network ATM withdrawals per month. Additionally, cash deposit options are available at over 88,000 retail locations.
Functioning as an FDIC-insured institution, Old Glory Bank offers a mobile app and online banking platform, allowing veterans to manage their finances remotely. Mike Ring, CEO of Old Glory Bank and an Air Force veteran, stated, “This account is just one way we say ‘thank you’ to those who served. We believe our veterans deserve access to premium financial services from a bank that truly appreciates their bravery and sacrifice.”
Beyond this new account, Old Glory Bank also supports veterans through Charitable Round-Ups and VA home loans. The bank addresses veteran homelessness through The McFadden Project, an initiative that assists veterans without a permanent address in re-entering the banking system by providing free accounts.
