Lufthansa Group Business Services (LGBS) has implemented Esker Accounts Payable to streamline its financial processes across five distinct ERP systems, aiming to enhance efficiency and support accelerated growth. The decision addresses the complexities of LGBS’s diverse IT landscape, seeking to unify accounts payable operations across its three centers in Frankfurt, Krakow, and Manila.

Esker, a provider of AI Automation Suites for the Office of the CFO, was selected for its global capabilities and established expertise in integrating with multiple ERP environments. Its AI-driven solution supports multiple languages and currencies, aligning with LGBS’s goal to scale operations efficiently while maintaining global consistency.

LGBS initiated this integration with the objective of standardizing and automating its processes. The Esker solution is designed to facilitate medium-term process transformation and establish a sustainable framework for future accounts payable operations across the organization. Additionally, LGBS plans for an upcoming AP integration with AMOS software, a unified solution for maintenance, engineering, and logistics for airlines and MRO providers, which also adheres to airworthiness regulations.
