(Nasdaq: INTU), a global financial technology platform, has announced significant advancements to its all-in-one platform, including the introduction of Intuit Intelligence, a new AI-native solution called Intuit Accountant Suite, enhanced AI agents, and powerful updates to Intuit Enterprise Suite. These innovations are designed to enable businesses and accounting firms to compete and grow in the AI era.
Sasan Goodarzi, Intuit CEO, unveiled these developments at Intuit Connect, the company’s flagship event for multi-service accounting firms and professionals in Las Vegas. At the core of Intuit’s platform transformation is Intuit Intelligence, described by the company as a revolutionary system of intelligence. This system aims to unify a business’s data and provide access to a virtual team of AI agents across key financial areas, including customer growth and management, payments, payroll, accounting, and tax. Intuit Intelligence features include “Ask Anything” for instant, data-backed answers and customized recommendations, Automated Task Completion for complex tasks like running payroll via prompts, and Actionable Insights that securely ingest data from Intuit sources, third-party systems, and spreadsheets to generate rich reports and KPI scorecards for informed decision-making.
The Intuit platform, powered by Intuit Intelligence, integrates a virtual team of AI agents and human experts to deliver automated experiences and data-driven insights. New and enhanced embedded AI agents, including those for sales, payroll, customer, payments, finance, project management, and accounting, are designed to save businesses up to 12 hours monthly by simplifying operations and providing insights that enhance productivity and profitability. This 12-hour saving is based on an Intuit-commissioned survey of QuickBooks Online customers using the new AI-powered bank feed features as of April 2025.
Specific agent enhancements include a new Sales Tax Agent to ensure compliance and identify potential issues, and a new Payroll Agent to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by collecting hours, spotting anomalies, and generating approval-ready drafts. The Accounting Agent has been improved with expanded anomaly detection, AI-powered reconciliations, and more accurate automated transaction categorizations. The Project Management Agent now converts signed contracts into projects, offers deeper project profitability insights, and features a refreshed project overview dashboard. Furthermore, AI-powered tools assist Intuit experts in providing guided setup, onboarding, ongoing bookkeeping, and soon data migration and quarterly book and tax reviews.
Intuit is also updating its mid-market ERP offering with Intuit Enterprise Suite, presented as a modern, AI-native solution. This suite incorporates built-in automation for multi-entity management, instant AI-driven insights, and a virtual team of AI agents, positioning it as an alternative to legacy systems. It is designed for fast deployment, ease of learning, and cost-effective scalability. Expanded capabilities include broader access to Intuit AI Agents, faster onboarding with improved data importing and AI-driven suggestions for Chart of Accounts, advanced multi-entity management with enhanced user controls and reporting, and consolidated control centers for managing apps. The suite also offers enhanced reporting and KPI dashboards, with future plans for industry-specific editions, starting with construction.
The new Intuit Accountant Suite is an AI-native platform designed to assist accounting firms in managing clients, practices, and teams. Built collaboratively with accountants, it leverages Intuit’s platform and system of intelligence. Key features include unified firm management through a customizable dashboard, improved client collaboration with document sharing and upcoming integrated web conferencing and AI note-taking tools, and the ability to answer questions and automate tasks via Intuit Intelligence. The suite also aims to improve firm capacity through AI-powered planning and forecasting, alongside access to Intuit’s human experts for additional support.
The rollout of Intuit Accountant Suite, Intuit Intelligence, new AI agents, and expert access began immediately for US-based businesses and accountants using QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite. US QuickBooks customers will also soon experience agentic AI features in mobile applications. These integrated AI capabilities, automated workflows, and expert collaborations are intended to provide real-time, personalized insights, enabling businesses and accounting firms on the Intuit platform to operate more efficiently and identify new growth opportunities.
