Behavox, an artificial intelligence (AI) company specializing in transforming data into business insights, announced that an international hedge fund has adopted its Pathfinder Policy Manager for enterprise-wide deployment to enhance internal efficiency and advance its global AI and digital transformation initiatives.
This deployment marks the hedge fund’s initial step toward integrating a suite of compliance workflow solutions from Behavox. Over the next year, additional functionalities will be rolled out, including Regulatory Scanning in Q1 2026 to assist with managing policy changes and regulatory alignment. Subsequent additions will include workflows for Conflicts of Interest and Control Room compliance.
The hedge fund’s decision to implement Pathfinder Policy Manager follows its previous success with Behavox Quantum, the company’s flagship communications surveillance solution. Behavox Quantum, powered by advanced GPU-based AI, has reportedly delivered a 4 to 5 times increase in true positive detections while reducing alert volumes by 80%, establishing it as a leader in detective control.
Erkin Adylov, Founder and CEO of Behavox, stated, “With Quantum, we’ve declared victory in surveillance. Customers are catching more real issues than ever. But that success raises the next challenge: prevention. Pathfinder moves compliance up the control stack, from detective to directive and preventive, helping firms stop issues before they occur.”
The European Head of Compliance for the hedge fund reported a significant transformation, noting that the firm successfully deployed surveillance and modernized its detective controls using AI. The team anticipates achieving comparable return on investment (ROI) through the implementation of preventive and directive controls.
John Showell, Head of Business Development and Strategy at Behavox, commented, “Firms want the power of generative AI without the risk. Pathfinder delivers that, providing secure, explainable AI that runs entirely on your own data and policies, bridging compliance and productivity.”
Behavox, founded in 2014, positions itself as a top brand in compliance technology. Pathfinder Policy Manager is part of an integrated ecosystem that includes Behavox Quantum for communications surveillance, Behavox Intelligent Archive for data governance, and Behavox Polaris for trade surveillance. This unified platform aims to provide an end-to-end solution for detecting, directing, and preventing compliance risks.
Nishant Chug, Product Manager for Pathfinder, added, “Pathfinder completes the control continuum that begins with Quantum. You can detect, direct, and ultimately prevent, and that’s what the market is responding to.”
Behavox is headquartered in London, with additional offices in New York City, Montreal, Seattle, Singapore, and Tokyo. The company’s technology is designed to help clients across various sectors, including banks, hedge funds, commodities firms, private equity firms, and crypto firms, in areas such as detecting compliance risks, streamlining data archiving, predicting regulatory breaches, and converting data into revenue.
