Fisent Technologies, a provider of Applied GenAI Process Automation for regulated enterprises, has raised $4.3 million in its initial priced venture round. This investment brings the company’s total funding to $6.3 million, equivalent to $8.8 million CAD.
The funding round was led by FINTOP, a venture capital firm specializing in financial services. Strategic investor Pegasystems also continued its participation in the round. As part of the transaction, FINTOP Partner John Philpott will join Fisent’s board of directors.
Fisent will allocate the new capital to expand its enterprise go-to-market team, enhance customer enablement and deployment engineering capabilities, and accelerate product development for its BizAI platform. The company also plans to increase its distribution reach through workflow and technology partners, building on its existing relationship with Pega.
Fisent’s BizAI software is designed to process unstructured content within complex enterprise workflows, enabling organizations to automate tasks that traditionally require manual review and specialized judgment. In financial services, this technology can be applied to process documents and other unstructured content across various workflows, including loan applications, customer onboarding, claims processing, and compliance reviews.
The funding follows a period of growth for Fisent’s enterprise business. The company secured its first Fortune 50 customer in 2026 and anticipates adding several more by the end of that year. In 2025, Fisent reported a 206% year-on-year revenue increase and achieved a net revenue retention of 173%. Additionally, the company has maintained zero customer churn for three consecutive years. Fisent’s technology is currently utilized by Fortune 500 customers across the banking, insurance, and wealth management sectors.
Adrian Murray, founder and CEO of Fisent, stated that enterprises are moving beyond AI experimentation and are choosing capabilities they can trust to operate at scale. He noted that customers are expanding BizAI across business functions because it delivers reliable outcomes within their existing systems and controls. Murray added that the investment will help Fisent serve more large regulated enterprises, accelerate successful deployments, and extend its reach through strategic partners.
John Philpott, FINTOP Partner and incoming Fisent board member, commented that while AI software is becoming easier to build, its deployment, governance, and improvement within complex enterprises remain challenging. He highlighted Fisent’s differentiation through its production performance, hands-on enterprise enablement, expansion within large customers, and a strong partner-led distribution model. Philpott expressed confidence that these strengths position BizAI to become a foundational capability for regulated enterprises.
