Facteus and Carbon Arc Form Alliance to Enhance Real-Time Consumer Data Accessibility for AI

Share It:

Facteus, a provider of real-time consumer intelligence, has announced a strategic partnership with Carbon Arc, an insights exchange, to offer Facteus’ extensive datasets through a flexible transaction model designed to democratize access to high-quality market insights.

Historically, access to high-quality transaction data has been rigid and costly, often limiting its use to larger entities. The collaboration aims to disrupt these traditional data procurement methods by enabling scalable and precise access for a wider range of investors and enterprises.

Through Carbon Arc’s exchange, customers can now explore and acquire specific lagged, aggregated data segments from Facteus’ Ultra consumer transaction dataset. This includes options to filter data by ticker, time window, or custom cohort, allowing for greater customization and a consumption-based model that enables real-time, AI-ready insights.

Chris Marsh, CEO of Facteus, stated that the partnership removes obstacles, opening their data to broader markets with a modern and scalable approach to using transaction intelligence. Facteus covers over $1.6 trillion in annual transactions from 180 million U.S. consumers with a one-day lag, providing a competitive advantage through integrated transaction data.

Carbon Arc, positioned as a data utility for AI, transforms how businesses access and utilize insights. Kirk McKeown, CEO of Carbon Arc, emphasized their goal of making high-quality external data as easy to consume as internal dashboards, eliminating the need for complex ETLs or unwieldy contracts. He added that the partnership with Facteus turns raw data into structured, searchable, decision-ready insights for the AI economy.

Carbon Arc’s proprietary ontology structures and maps consumption data from over 180 million consumers to companies, brands, people, and locations. This process standardizes raw data into decision-ready insights. The partnership will initially offer curated Facteus datasets, including macroeconomic overviews, retail sales analyses, and a Company Insights Hub featuring metrics for over 2,000 companies, accessible via Carbon Arc’s platform. This interoperability extends across more than 50 datasets on the Carbon Arc platform, minimizing additional data manipulation requirements.
