Euna Solutions, a provider of SaaS solutions for the public sector, has introduced capabilities within Euna Budget that enable governments to generate digital Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs). This new functionality is scheduled for demonstration at Booth #621 during the upcoming Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) 2025 Annual Conference.
The feature is designed to assist agencies in streamlining the production of financial reports that are accessible, integrate data, and align with GFOA award criteria. Tom Amburgey, CEO of Euna Solutions, stated, “Public sector finance teams are being asked to deliver clearer, more accessible annual reports while managing growing complexity. Our financial reporting capabilities help agencies simplify reporting, improve transparency, and deliver award-ready reports without adding technical burdens or resource strain.”
Euna’s new publishing and reporting capabilities aim to simplify digital ACFR creation, supporting finance teams in meeting current priorities for accessibility, accuracy, and transparency. The solution is also developed with an eye toward evolving federal reporting standards, such as the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA).
Available to both new and existing customers, the feature is intended for local governments, utilities, and special districts seeking to modernize financial reporting. Key capabilities include:
* **Compliance confidence:** Reports can be produced to meet GFOA award requirements and align with GASB standards, utilizing built-in templates and smart checklists.
* **Inclusive by design:** Output is designed to be fully accessible, complying with ADA, ACA, and WCAG standards.
* **Data-driven accuracy:** The system leverages current data from Euna Budget to enhance consistency, improve accuracy, and reduce redundant data entry.
* **Flexible reporting:** Advanced reporting functionality supports custom layouts and dynamic formatting, aiming to minimize manual edits and streamline report creation.
* **Version mastery:** The feature seeks to simplify ongoing updates and publishing by addressing version control issues, allowing teams to republish corrected or updated reports efficiently.
* **Full visibility:** Financial data is presented in a clear, digital format designed to enhance transparency for stakeholders, auditors, funders, and the public.
This solution integrates with Euna Budget and is part of OpenBook, Euna’s transparency solution. It extends the company’s existing financial transparency and reporting tools, enabling agencies to share digital-first ACFRs while retaining options for export and print for formal submissions or internal documentation. While the federal FDTA continues to develop, these digital ACFR capabilities are designed to anticipate future standards, helping agencies align with future federal requirements while addressing immediate needs for accessibility, accuracy, and transparency.
Amburgey added, “This solution meets agencies where they are today and helps position them for what’s ahead. Finance teams can focus on delivering clear, transparent financial information to their communities to ultimately increase public trust and reinforce the value of taxpayer dollars.”
