Kyle Armbrester, CEO of Datavant, stated that customers do not require an entire medical chart to address specific questions or business challenges. He added that the combined capabilities of Datavant and DigitalOwl will transform how data is utilized by legal and insurance professionals, with a broader goal of unlocking data value for all customers over time.
With DigitalOwl’s acquisition, alongside Ontellus’s health records retrieval and claims intelligence functionalities, Datavant aims to offer an end-to-end platform. This platform will cater to legal and insurance professionals, encompassing managed retrieval, automated summaries, chronology and de-duplication, and AI-enabled predictive analytics.
