DataDome, a provider of cyberfraud protection solutions, has announced a global technology partnership with Arc XP, a content platform for media organizations. This collaboration enables digital publishers to detect, control, and monetize Large Language Model (LLM) traffic through a direct integration with Arc XP’s Edge Integration Framework.
This partnership makes DataDome’s AI-powered cyberfraud protection and traffic intelligence accessible within the Arc XP ecosystem. The integration is designed to allow rapid activation of bot mitigation without extensive engineering work, addressing new complexities introduced by the rise of AI tools, including AI agents and crawlers.
While LLMs can open new content discovery pathways, they also facilitate the scraping of digital content, often without attribution or compensation. For media companies, this presents risks such as the unauthorized use of proprietary content, increased infrastructure strain, and potential data misuse. Through this partnership, Arc XP customers gain access to DataDome’s protections, encompassing the classification and management of AI agent traffic, alongside defense against malicious bots and fraud attempts. Publishers can now apply real-time controls across non-human traffic to protect content and optimize value.
Joe Croney, Chief Technology Officer at Arc XP, commented, “AI agents are reshaping how content is discovered, while consumers demand experiences that feel increasingly personal and relevant. This integration with DataDome gives media companies precise, real-time control over non-human traffic—delivered seamlessly at the edge, without added complexity. It’s a strong example of Arc XP’s extensibility in action, and how we enable publishers to respond to rapid change with speed and confidence.”
DataDome’s approach utilizes behavioral AI and threat intelligence to detect and prevent advanced attacks, including those employing evasive techniques or GenAI tools. The integration provides continuous protection against sophisticated scraping, fake account creation, credential stuffing, and other forms of automated abuse.
Arc XP’s content platform, originally developed for The Washington Post, is designed to support media companies in developing personalized content experiences, protecting infrastructure at scale, and identifying monetization opportunities. With the launch of its new Edge Integration Framework, Arc XP facilitates the seamless connection of its platform with other industry technologies.
“This direct access through Arc XP makes it easier than ever for global publishers to activate cyberfraud protection at the edge, with no additional infrastructure burden. It’s another step in DataDome’s mission to make fraud protection available everywhere our customers need us,” stated Aurelie Guerrieri, DataDome’s Chief Marketing & Alliances Officer. “Together with Arc XP, we’re delivering an easy path to control, transparency, and monetization.”
The partnership follows DataDome’s recent advancements in multi-layered AI, including expanded intent-based AI models, LLM detection capabilities, and new AI agent response policies. Arc XP also continues to develop innovations in content intelligence.
