CrowdStrike and Perplexity have announced a strategic partnership to integrate the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform with Comet Enterprise, Perplexity’s AI-native browser, offering enterprise administrators enhanced security and monitoring capabilities.
This integration, unveiled at Ask 2026, will make the Falcon platform available by opt-in for Comet Enterprise users. It is designed to provide advanced detection, governance, and data protection configurations to address web threats, manage data movement, and enable visibility and response on unmanaged devices.
The collaboration addresses a growing threat landscape, as highlighted by the 2026 CrowdStrike Global Threat Report. The report indicated an 89% year-over-year increase in AI-enabled adversary operations, with 82% of detections in 2025 being malware-free. As enterprises increasingly integrate AI into daily operations, AI-driven interfaces are evolving into both primary work surfaces and new attack vectors. Securing these interactions across the entire AI stack is essential to prevent data exposure and mitigate risks from adversaries operating through trusted AI workflows.
This partnership builds upon CrowdStrike’s previous acquisition of Seraphic, further strengthening the Falcon platform’s browser-layer runtime protection capabilities. Through this integration, Comet Enterprise AI interactions will benefit from an additional layer of real-time data protection provided by the Falcon platform, offering visibility into sensitive information and enforcing integrated policy controls as employees utilize AI for research, analysis, and decision-making.
Enterprise security policies will be directly applied within AI-driven workflows, aiming to prevent unauthorized data sharing and exposure of proprietary content. This approach seeks to reduce risk without disrupting user productivity.
Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, commented on the development, stating, “The browser is no longer just where people access information – it’s becoming the interaction layer for enterprise AI. As AI scales across the workforce, organizations expect it to operate within their existing security architecture and controls.” He added that Perplexity has been a leader in secure AI browsing with Comet, and the partnership will extend CrowdStrike’s protections into AI-native workflows, securing AI where work occurs.
Dmitry Shevelenko, chief business officer at Perplexity, also commented, “CrowdStrike is one of the most trusted names in enterprise security, with a proven track record of helping organizations protect their most important workflows.” He noted that Comet Enterprise already provides secure, AI-native browsing, and the partnership adds an extra layer of control for enterprises seeking to extend CrowdStrike’s protections into the browser.
