ChiroTouch Launches AI-Powered Compliance Scan to Bolster Revenue Protection and Reduce Audit Risk for Chiropractic Practices

ChiroTouch has introduced Compliance Scan, a new feature integrated into its AI assistant Rheo, designed to help chiropractic practices safeguard revenue and mitigate compliance risks associated with claim denials and documentation errors. This initiative addresses the industry challenge where such errors can reportedly reduce expected collections by up to 30%, placing significant financial and regulatory pressure on practices.

Compliance Scan, powered by Rheo, aims to reduce costly errors and protect provider revenue by automatically reviewing SOAP notes and billing codes. The system is engineered to decrease audit exposure and ensure that every claim is defensible. It automatically scrutinizes documentation before submission, cross-checking patient complaints, exam findings, diagnoses, and billed procedures. Any inconsistencies are instantly flagged, allowing providers to correct issues prior to claims reaching a payer.

“Compliance Scan gives chiropractors confidence that their documentation meets compliance standards every time,” stated Tami Howard, Product Manager for AI Solutions at ChiroTouch. “By embedding audit intelligence directly into the workflow, Rheo transforms compliance from a manual burden into an integrated, automated safeguard.”

Key capabilities of Compliance Scan include automated compliance analysis, which is activated upon note completion or CPT/DX changes, delivering real-time scoring and documentation validation. A Compliance Dashboard provides clear, color-coded risk indicators and allows filtering by note status, signatures, and billing readiness. The feature also offers in-note guidance with one-click navigation to flagged sections and automatic re-scans after edits. Furthermore, historical analytics are available to quantify compliance trends and demonstrate audit-risk reduction over time.

Through Rheo’s intelligent automation, Compliance Scan aligns subjective complaints, objective findings, diagnoses, and billed procedures to ensure accurate and defensible documentation. This integration aims to result in lower audit risk and stronger reimbursement outcomes, enabling providers to eliminate guesswork, safeguard revenue, and maintain documentation integrity without disrupting existing workflows.
