CDK SimplePay integrates directly into the CDK platform, aiming to eliminate common payment challenges such as fragmented systems, manual reconciliation, and compliance concerns. The solution supports various transactions, including ongoing vehicle maintenance, service, parts, and down payments.
An internal study conducted by CDK indicated that dealers using third-party processors spend up to 30% more time on payment reconciliation. CDK SimplePay addresses this by embedding payment workflows within the CDK ecosystem, enabling automatic reconciliation, supporting Europay, MasterCard and Visa (EMV) terminals, and offering comprehensive real-time customer payment options.

It also incorporates built-in Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and advanced fraud protection. The solution aims to improve operational efficiency by automating workflows and offers fully compliant surcharging capabilities in eligible states to offset credit card processing fees.
