BMO has launched “My Financial Progress,” a new digital, self-serve financial planning experience available within its Mobile Banking app and Online Banking platform. This tool was developed in strategic partnership with Conquest Planning Inc., a technology platform specializing in financial advice modernization.

“My Financial Progress” is designed to assist BMO’s clients in managing their financial journey by offering a clear view of their financial status, personalized goal-setting tools, and tailored recommendations for informed decision-making. The platform leverages Conquest Planning’s proprietary technology, including its Strategic Advice Manager (SAM), to facilitate goal setting, progress monitoring, and comprehensive financial health snapshots.

SAM’s functionality includes modeling financial scenarios and suggesting optimized strategies that balance immediate client needs with long-term objectives. It handles complex calculations and clarifies recommendations to support decision-making for clients across various life stages.

Gayle Ramsay, Head of Everyday Banking, Segment & Customer Growth at BMO, stated, “Driven by its commitment to help Canadians make real financial progress, BMO is excited to collaborate with Conquest to meet clients wherever they are in their planning journey.” She added that “My Financial Progress” aims to empower clients to plan for future milestones with increased confidence and ease by providing digital support.

Through “My Financial Progress,” BMO clients gain access to interactive planning features that identify gaps, opportunities, and risks within their financial plans. The platform offers proactive recommendations to sustain progress and optimize strategies. Users can visualize the impact of different strategies on their goals and overall plan, with visuals updating automatically to reflect goal and plan health. The system also adjusts plans in real time in response to life events, proposing alternative paths to maintain client confidence and preparedness.

Mark Evans, President and Chief Executive Officer at Conquest Planning, commented, “At Conquest Planning, our mission has always been to make personalized financial advice accessible to all, regardless of their background or financial situation. With the launch of My Financial Progress in partnership with BMO, we are thrilled to bring this vision to life on a larger scale.” He noted that BMO is empowering Canadians to navigate their financial journeys and make informed decisions by utilizing Conquest’s technology.

Conquest Planning, established in 2018 by financial technology veterans, is a financial planning software company focused on delivering personalized financial advice. Its platform, which serves users in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., incorporates data-driven artificial intelligence to create hyper-personalized financial plans.
