BitGo, a digital asset infrastructure company, and Crescite Innovation Corporation, a global leader in faith-based blockchain innovation and creator of the Catholic Token, have announced a strategic collaboration focused on faith-based digital asset initiatives.

As part of this collaboration, the parties aim for BitGo to potentially provide secure custody, reserve management, and issuance infrastructure for Crescite’s proposed Catholic USD™ stablecoin and related projects. This engagement is subject to regulatory review and definitive agreements. The Catholic USD™, upon its development, would be a 1:1 fiat-backed stablecoin intended for use in endowments, global project funding, church operations, and treasury management, with potential public availability and listing on exchanges worldwide.

Additionally, BitGo and Crescite may work together for BitGo to serve as the exclusive custodian of the Catholic Token™. BitGo’s digital asset infrastructure encompasses Stablecoin-as-a-Service, reserve management, smart contract infrastructure, qualified custody, trading, settlement, and lending capabilities.

The collaboration is positioned to potentially blend blockchain technology’s transparency with faith-based innovation’s moral foundation.

Potential strategic elements of the collaboration include BitGo Trust Company, a regulated South Dakota trust company, and its affiliates, serving as the exclusive issuer and custodian for all fiat reserves, smart contracts, and issuance infrastructure backing Catholic USD™. BitGo could also potentially offer listing, custody, and vesting support for the Catholic Token™. Furthermore, Crescite could leverage BitGo Prime for electronic or over-the-counter (OTC) trading to optimize liquidity and cross-market stability.

Edward Cullen, CEO and Co-Founder of Crescite Innovation Corporation and Catholic Token™, stated that this collaboration explores a bridge between spiritual and digital capital.

BitGo, Inc., founded in 2013, provides custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement services from regulated cold storage. The company aims to accelerate the financial system’s transition to a digital asset economy, serving thousands of institutions globally.

Crescite Innovation Corporation, a Tennessee-based digital asset company, focuses on pioneering faith-based blockchain ecosystems. Its flagship projects include the Catholic Token™, the Build-a-Token™ platform, and the Crescite Stablecoin Series, designed to connect global communities, investors, and institutions through ethical tokenization, research, and on-chain governance.
