Bettr, a provider of inclusive financial services and technology business operating under Ant International, has announced the launch of its proprietary credit technology solutions. These solutions are designed to assist digital platforms in building and scaling their lending operations to better serve micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in emerging markets.

The company projects that its credit tech solutions will have supported over 30 million customers in gaining access to credit services through its partners by the end of October 2025. This marks a projected threefold increase compared to the same period in 2024, with MSMEs identified as a key segment driving this growth. The International Finance Corporation estimates an US$8 trillion financing gap for MSMEs in emerging markets and developing economies. As global and local platforms expand in these markets, many seek to offer tailored credit services to support MSMEs within their ecosystems, aiming to enhance merchant engagement and revenue.

Bettr’s offerings include a comprehensive portfolio of one-stop credit technology solutions, encompassing SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), RaaS (Risk-as-a-Service), and alternative data-driven DaaS (Data-as-a-Service). These services aim to support partners from the initial incubation of credit operations to achieving scalable growth, fostering customer engagement, and driving sustainable revenue.

The solutions leverage alternative data-driven credit capabilities to cater to diverse sectors across more than 20 markets. The Alternative Data Intelligence component uses advanced AI, including machine learning, large language models, heterogeneous networks, and deep neural networks, to convert sparse local data sources into reliable credit attributes. This technology supports lenders in creating comprehensive risk profiles for MSMEs, improving credit assessment, and enabling real-time, dynamic credit decision-making.

A core product, the AI-driven Alternative Credit Engine for credit assessment and decision-making, can reduce the deployment time for credit policies for partner platforms and financial institutions from weeks to minutes. Partners can construct credit policies by dragging and dropping modules from a built-in template library, which covers key strategies such as underwriting, into a code-free interface. Combined with rapid strategy testing and comprehensive monitoring, this allows partners to respond quickly to MSMEs’ needs.

Bettr plans to launch a strategy bot in the near future to design tailored credit policies based on market dynamics and partner objectives. Additionally, the company is developing AI agents for various scenarios, including risk assessment, fraud detection, and personalized customer support, to enable digital platforms to deliver more inclusive financial services to MSMEs.

The launch is accompanied by an expanded partnership with Dock, a payments and banking technology provider in Brazil. This collaboration aims to scale the deployment of these solutions, beginning in Brazil and subsequently extending into other Latin American markets. Through Dock’s ecosystem, which includes over 400 partner banks and fintechs, the partnership will facilitate the extension of credit and financing support to MSMEs.

Antonio Soares, CEO of Dock, commented on the collaboration: “The Brazilian people have a very strong entrepreneurial spirit, and all the innovative ideas found in the country’s MSMEs require financing to grow and scale. A small artisan, for example, can benefit immensely from a tech platform that can expand business reach, and even help them export their artwork to the entire world. There is a huge business opportunity in extending credit to these entrepreneurs, but it goes beyond that: we have a chance to further drive financial inclusion and economically empower them. Through Dock’s partnership with Ant International, I believe we’ll contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystem in the country.”Quan Yu, General Manager of Global Credit Services at Ant International, stated: “Emerging markets are driving global growth, powered by millions of MSMEs with untapped potential. What they need are the right tools and partners to realize it. Our goal is to equip digital platforms with the infrastructure, technology, and products they need to embed credit services directly into their ecosystems. By doing so, these platforms can reach underserved MSMEs at scale quickly and sustainably. This approach is already in place across around 20 markets, and we will continue expanding its impact.”Bettr, an inclusive financial services and technology business under Ant International, aims to advance financial inclusion by leveraging technology and collaborating with partners across public and private sectors.
