Aptia Group Reports Transformative 2025 Driven by Strategic Evolution, Technology Modernization, and Expanded Ecosystem

S. employee benefits administrator and global pensions and insurance provider, has released its 2025 year-in-review, detailing a period of significant strategic evolution. The year saw the company reshape its go-to-market approach, expand its presence in the U.

S., accelerate technology modernization, forge new industry partnerships, and maintain its recognized service standards.

He stated, “We strengthened our foundation as one of the most trusted and highest-rated benefits administration providers in the industry, while taking bold steps to modernize how employers manage benefits through intelligence, automation, and integrated technology.” Williams highlighted the modernization of their go-to-market strategy, expansion of their U.

S. footprint, advancement of their technology vision with AptiaOne, and the deepening of their partner ecosystem. He also mentioned the addition of key leadership talent in Product, Technology, and Transformation, including Josh Welch, Doug O’Reilly, and Sam Berman, to guide the company’s next phase of growth.

A key development in September 2025 was the introduction of AptiaOne, a next-generation benefits administration technology. AptiaOne is designed to unify intelligence, automation, and integration across the entire benefits lifecycle, aiming to provide employers with clearer insights, earlier issue identification, seamless benefits integration, and personalized year-round guidance for employees beyond just enrollment periods. The platform is cloud-native, AI-enabled, and built for continuous innovation, supporting Aptia’s internal teams to enhance efficiency, expedite issue resolution, and improve accuracy and service quality.

Aptia reported strong service performance in 2025, including a 95% participant satisfaction score, a 92% service level, and a participant Net Promoter Score (NPS) exceeding 80. Sonoco, a client, commented on Aptia’s work during Open Enrollment 2026, which achieved a 10/10 NPS score, stating, “The team did a great job. We really appreciate all their hard work and dedication to making [Open Enrollment] successful.”Josh Welch, Aptia’s Chief Product Officer, explained that AptiaOne was developed to address growing challenges in benefits administration. He noted that employees increasingly expect comprehensive support and year-round guidance for their well-being, while employers face pressure to control costs, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional experiences amidst rising benefits complexity. Welch stated, “With AptiaOne, we’re bringing clients a modern, intelligent solution from a proven, trusted player. We’re incredibly excited to introduce this advancement at a time the industry needs it the most – and to help employers drive meaningful value from their benefits investments.” For 2026, Aptia’s product strategy will focus on scaling AptiaOne, enabling new capabilities, greater configurability, and expanded value for organizations and their employees.

In 2025, Aptia launched Aptia Amplify Partners, a curated and pre-integrated ecosystem designed to simplify employer access to third-party solutions and programs. Amplify Partners offers prebuilt integrations, embedded content, and coordinated outreach to boost adoption and results across various benefits such as condition management, mental health, well-being, and financial wellness. Kashable joined as the inaugural partner, providing responsible credit and financial wellness tools with payroll repayment. Aptia also announced a strategic relationship with Flimp for delivering employer-branded benefits education through digital microsites, videos, and interactive content, with additional partnerships planned for 2026.

Throughout 2025, Aptia received national recognition for its excellence. This included Silver Stevie Awards for Contact Center of the Year and Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year. The company also earned seven Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards across various categories, including competencies & skill development, blended learning, and innovative L&D, as well as a Gold TITAN Business Award for Customer Experience Department/Team of the Year in Fall 2025.

Aptia initiated its comprehensive community service program, Aptia Serves, in April 2025, focusing on volunteerism and charitable partnerships. Notable activities included assembling 400 “Ruck Ready Relief Kits” for the Green Beret Foundation with over 75 volunteers in Nashville, TN, supporting the United Way of Central Iowa’s community garden with 30+ volunteers, and assembling sensory kits for children with autism for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation. The company also made donations to the Walk for Alopecia and Wreaths Across America.

As part of its long-term growth strategy, Aptia expanded its U.

S. presence in 2025 with the opening of a new office in Orlando, which was marked by a community volunteer event benefiting A Gift for Teaching.
