Gyde, an AI-native brokerage platform, has officially launched with $60 million in capital to enhance how brokers assist clients with critical insurance, health, and wealth decisions. The financing round was led by Lightspeed, with additional participation from Optum Ventures, Crystal Venture Partners, Virtue, MVP Ventures, and multiple endowment funds.

The company’s mission is to empower a new generation of brokers to serve as comprehensive and trusted guides across these sectors. By integrating advanced AI technology with experienced operational teams, Gyde aims to enable top agencies to provide higher-quality advice, foster deeper client relationships, and deliver greater lifetime value for a broader client base.

Will Johnson, Co-Founder and CEO of Gyde, stated that the platform was developed to equip brokers with the technology, scale, and operational support necessary to reduce administrative burdens. He emphasized that this approach allows brokers to truly guide clients through important life decisions, adding that the new funding will accelerate this vision alongside their partners.

Gyde initially plans to partner with health insurance agencies, focusing on the Medicare Advantage, Employee Benefits, and Individual markets, through strategic acquisitions. The company’s model involves retaining existing teams post-acquisition and investing alongside them to foster business growth. This strategy is founded on a belief in the broker community, treating agencies as long-term partners and aligning incentives for collective success.

Dr. Brenton Fargnoli, a Partner at Lightspeed, commented on Gyde’s market entry, noting that insurance brokers are central to significant personal decisions yet have historically been limited by outdated tools and fragmented systems. He highlighted that Gyde’s AI-native platform significantly improves brokers’ capabilities for their clients while maintaining the trust and human connection inherent in the brokerage model.

Under the guidance of seasoned operators and industry experts, Gyde is developing a brokerage platform designed to align brokers, clients, and carriers for improved outcomes. The goal is to position brokers as enduring advocates throughout all stages of a client’s life. Central to the platform is a proprietary AI system engineered to automate low-complexity tasks, thereby allowing human expertise to focus on complex insurance challenges.

The platform includes GydeOS, a broker-facing interface, and Gia, an Intelligent Assistant. Together, these tools are designed to deliver a consistent, high-touch, and customer-oriented experience at scale. By combining intelligent automation with a service-centric approach, Gyde seeks to provide proactive, personalized, and continuous support as consumers and employers navigate healthcare and financial pathways. This is also expected to position brokers for more strategic partnerships with carriers. Gyde plans to announce its initial partner cohort in the coming months.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional offices in New York City, Gyde combines artificial intelligence with broker-first tools and operational support to streamline client servicing, renewals, and growth.
