Affirm, a payment network, has announced a partnership with New Look Vision Group, a North American optical retailer, to introduce flexible pay-over-time options for customers in Canada.

Through this collaboration, approved Canadian shoppers can select Affirm at checkout when purchasing prescription glasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses at New Look Eyewear, Greiche & Scaff, Vogue Optical, and IRIS locations. Customers have the option to split their purchases into biweekly or monthly payments without incurring late or hidden fees.

Antoine Amiel, President & CEO of New Look Vision Group, stated that the partnership advances their vision of making high-quality vision care more accessible and affordable across the country. He noted that offering a flexible payment method helps remove a significant barrier for many consumers, providing greater confidence and clarity regarding payment without compromising on quality or experience.

Wayne Pommen, Chief Revenue Officer at Affirm, commented that eyewear and prescriptions are tailored to individual needs, and payment options should reflect that. He added that the collaboration with New Look Vision Group provides personalized payment options free of late fees or hidden charges, ensuring consumers do not encounter unexpected costs when shopping for vision care.

New Look Vision Group operates over 475 stores in the U.S. and Canada and joins a network of nearly 360,000 merchants offering Affirm as of March 31, 2025. Affirm also partners with other major Canadian retailers, including Amazon, Apple, Samsung, Brown’s Shoes, and CheapOair.

New Look Vision Group, headquartered in Montreal, is an optical retailer with 476 locations operating primarily under the Iris, New Look Eyewear, Vogue Optical, and Greiche & Scaff banners. The group also manages a lens manufacturing facility in Canada.

Affirm’s payment options in Canada are provided through Affirm Canada Holdings Ltd. and are subject to an eligibility check. Rates range from 0-31.99% APR, depending on provincial regulations and purchase amount. Payment plans vary by merchant and may not be available in all provinces or territories. A down payment may be required.
