ElephantSqlDB, Inc., an NVIDIA Inception partner specializing in database technology, has initiated a pre-IPO investment round for verified accredited investors, following the August 5, 2025 general availability of its quantum-augmented database platform and the accumulation of $143 million in active proof-of-concept engagements.
The Austin, Texas-based company has also secured a $3 million institutional funding round, positioning it for a planned NASDAQ listing within the next 12 months. Cedric Harris, CEO of ElephantSqlDB, Inc., stated, “Combined with $143 million in active proof-of-concept engagements, we have the technology validation and market traction to accelerate our path to public markets.”
ElephantSqlDB’s proprietary database architecture is designed to deliver asymptotic O(1) query performance, providing constant-time responses irrespective of data volume. An independent appraisal valued the company’s intellectual property at $43 million. Mr. Harris added, “Being selected as a NVIDIA Inception partner validates our technical approach and opens doors to enterprise customers who are building AI-first infrastructure.”
As an NVIDIA Inception partner, ElephantSqlDB gains access to NVIDIA’s technical resources, expertise, and go-to-market support. This partnership is intended to accelerate the development of GPU-optimized database capabilities and integrate the company into a network of startups focused on AI and data science advancements.
Since its platform’s general availability, ElephantSqlDB has engaged enterprise customers in active proof-of-concept (POC) projects with a potential contract value of $143 million. These engagements include a Fortune 20 healthcare payer serving over 45 million members, an energy sector platform managing approximately 10% of U.
S. onshore oil production, and a venture-backed healthcare logistics company. These organizations are evaluating ElephantSqlDB for workloads where near constant-time queries, completing in single-digit milliseconds, are critical for operational efficiency and desired outcomes. The company anticipates a substantial portion of these POCs will convert to production contracts within the next two quarters.
The global database market exceeds $100 billion annually, with enterprise demand for real-time analytics expanding at over 20% per year. ElephantSqlDB aims to address performance bottlenecks in high-value verticals where traditional databases face challenges. Its O(1) architecture seeks to eliminate query degradation as data volumes grow, enabling use cases previously constrained, such as AI-intensive applications.
