Privado.ai Launches AI-Powered Assessments and Dynamic Data Mapping to Enhance Privacy Compliance

Share It:

Privado.ai has launched new capabilities designed to automate privacy assessments and data maps, addressing the increasing regulatory enforcement related to non-compliant personal data sharing. The updated offerings include Agentic Assessments, which leverage AI agents to streamline privacy evaluations, and Dynamic Data Maps, an enhanced solution for real-time data mapping.

Agentic Assessments enable privacy stakeholders to complete entire assessments in minutes by importing relevant documentation. Vaibhav Antil, Co-Founder and CEO of Privado.ai, stated that this approach allows for the population of assessments in hours, significantly reducing the weeks typically required, and ensures findings are linked to evidence for immediate validation and increased accuracy.

This new solution utilizes AI agents to analyze various documents, such as data flow diagrams, product requirement documents, technical specifications, and project proposals. A dedicated contract agent builds an inventory of contracts and extracts data elements, purposes of processing, obligations, and risks from third-party agreements to enhance assessment findings. Agentic Assessments support a range of privacy evaluations, including privacy impact assessments, data protection impact assessments, records of processing activity, vendor assessments, AI risk assessments, and transfer impact assessments, using pre-built or custom templates.

In addition to Agentic Assessments, Privado.ai has updated its data mapping solution. Prashant Mahajan, Co-Founder and CTO of Privado.ai, highlighted that traditional questionnaire-based data mapping struggles to keep pace with evolving technology and regulations. The new Dynamic Data Map capabilities aim to provide a more complete, accurate, and automated data mapping solution.

Dynamic Data Maps introduce two new real-time scanning capabilities: runtime software scanning and third-party scanning. Runtime software scanning enhances privacy code visibility by identifying all destinations for personal data processed by internally developed software, integrating with application performance monitoring tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace. Third-party scanning automates data maps for external software like CRM, HR, procurement, and marketing solutions through API integrations. The Assessment Agent and Contract Agent further populate data maps by analyzing documentation and contracts, respectively. These capabilities, combined with existing code, website, and mobile app scanning, offer comprehensive data mapping automation, enabling customers to build inventories of personal data and third parties, generate data flow diagrams, populate records of processing activities, and flag potential compliance risks without manual input.

Privado.ai plans to introduce a policy agent later this year to identify inconsistencies between privacy policies and assessments, and an extension of the assessment agent to conduct risk analysis. The company also intends to expand its suite of third-party scanning integrations to include a broader range of widely used enterprise tools.

Founded in 2020 and based in New York, Privado.ai is a modern privacy platform specializing in reducing compliance risk through AI agents and real-time software scanning. The company’s solutions automate assessments, data maps, and risk discovery, and are trusted by enterprise and SMB companies globally.
