Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), a payment network focused on consumer empowerment, has announced an expanded partnership with Worldpay, a global payment services provider, to integrate its flexible payment options into Worldpay for Platforms’ embedded payment offering for software companies.

The collaboration will enable software platforms utilizing Worldpay for Platforms to offer Affirm as a payment method to their merchants. This integration provides eligible end customers with flexible and transparent ways to pay for purchases. Worldpay for Platforms currently serves over 1,000 SaaS companies, having processed more than $400 billion in payment volume and 4.6 billion transactions over the past 12 months.

Wayne Pommen, Chief Revenue Officer at Affirm, stated, “Together with Worldpay, we’re making it easier than ever for businesses to offer flexible, transparent payment options at checkout. Through this expanded partnership, we can deliver Affirm to more platforms, more merchants, and ultimately more consumers — while removing friction every step of the way.”

Matt Downs, President of Worldpay for Platforms, commented on the partnership, “By making it easy to offer Affirm at checkout, we’re helping our software partners become the everything platform to their users while enhancing the customer experience. Our focus is on giving software platforms and their merchants the very best tools to grow. Affirm’s proven ability to deliver results for businesses and great experiences for consumers makes them an ideal BNPL partner for Worldpay for Platforms.”

Affirm allows approved consumers to split purchases into biweekly or monthly payments, with interest rates starting at 0% APR. Payment plans range from 30 days to 60 months and support transaction sizes from $35 to $30,000. Affirm’s model focuses on responsible lending, only approving customers deemed capable of repayment, and does not charge late or hidden fees. Businesses offering Affirm at checkout have observed benefits such as increased overall sales, higher average order values, and access to new customer segments.
