Pindrop, a leader in voice authentication, fraud, and deepfake detection, has announced a strategic partnership with Webex by Cisco, a provider of collaboration technologies. This collaboration integrates Pindrop’s enterprise solutions into the Webex Suite and Webex Contact Center, giving Cisco customers access to advanced security features.

Through this partnership, Cisco customers will gain access to Pindrop’s suite of solutions, which includes passive voice biometric authentication, advanced fraud detection, consortium-driven fraud intelligence, and Pindrop® Pulse for Meetings. The latter is a new product designed for real-time deepfake detection. These capabilities extend across customer contact centers and internal collaboration tools, aiming to protect enterprises from AI-powered fraud and synthetic media threats.

Dr. Vijay Balasubramaniyan, Chief Executive Officer of Pindrop, stated, “Voice and video are fundamental to how enterprises engage customers, employees, and partners. By integrating our newest innovation, Pulse for Meetings, with our established authentication and fraud detection capabilities into the Webex ecosystem, we are providing organizations with enterprise-grade protection across every interaction. This partnership with Cisco marks a significant step in securing digital collaboration and helping enterprises preempt evolving AI-driven threats.”

Within the Webex Contact Center, Pindrop’s solutions enable passive biometric authentication to verify trusted customers. Concurrently, its advanced fraud detection and device intelligence features work to defend against account takeovers and synthetic identities.

For Webex Meetings, Pindrop® Pulse for Meetings introduces real-time, multi-modal deepfake detection. By concurrently analyzing audio, video, and location data, Pulse for Meetings verifies the Real Human, Right Human, and Right Location to enhance the security of critical meetings.

Amit Barave, VP of Product Management for Webex Suite & AI at Cisco, commented, “Trust is essential for collaboration, and enterprises rely on Webex’s secure platform to operate in today’s digital economy. By integrating Pindrop’s AI-driven fraud and deepfake detection across the Webex Suite, we are assisting customers in safeguarding their sensitive conversations across meetings and calls while simultaneously boosting productivity at scale.”

Webex is recognized as one of the world’s most widely used collaboration platforms. The partnership leverages Cisco’s global infrastructure and Pindrop’s expertise in voice authentication, fraud detection, and synthetic media detection to establish a new standard for securing both external customer interactions and internal business collaboration.
