Share It:

Stellar Cyber, a company focused on cybersecurity illumination, has been accepted into the Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP). This collaboration aims to bolster Stellar Cyber’s threat intelligence capabilities, facilitating earlier detection of vulnerabilities and promoting a more proactive stance in cyber defense.

Through the MAPP initiative, Microsoft provides Stellar Cyber with advance access to critical vulnerability and threat intelligence, up to two weeks before public disclosure. This early insight enables Stellar Cyber to expedite the development and deployment of protective measures within its unified, open AI-powered SecOps platform, thereby reinforcing customer defenses prior to the widespread exploitation of new vulnerabilities.

Andrew Homer, Vice President Technology Alliances at Stellar Cyber, stated, “Joining MAPP underscores our commitment to proactive cybersecurity. This collaboration with Microsoft allows us to deliver faster, sharper, and more comprehensive protection for organizations using Microsoft technologies.”

As a MAPP member, Stellar Cyber will receive pre-release detection guidance on emerging Microsoft vulnerabilities, allowing it to refine detection models and provide timely, automated threat responses within Microsoft environments. This participation also aligns Stellar Cyber with Microsoft’s coordinated vulnerability disclosure practices and enhances its position as a security provider focused on speed and accuracy.

MAPP is a Microsoft program designed to foster cooperation between trusted security vendors and Microsoft by sharing threat and vulnerability data ahead of public updates. Stellar Cyber joins a global network of cybersecurity companies dedicated to enhancing the safety and resilience of the digital ecosystem. This partnership further validates Stellar Cyber’s integrated, AI-powered SecOps platform, which is designed to fuse data, automate responses, and improve security analyst productivity. Stellar Cyber’s platform includes AI-driven SIEM, NDR, Open XDR, and Multi-Layer AI™ under a single license, serving over 14,000 customers worldwide, including a third of the top 250 MSSPs.
