NumbersGame Connects Stripe, Square and Ramp to Its AI Accounting Tool

NumbersGame, which provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector linking accounting firms’ AI assistants to client QuickBooks Online and Xero files, has added integrations with Stripe, Square and Ramp. The new connections are available to all customers and let multi-client accounting firms and fractional CFOs work with a client’s payments, sales and spending data in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot next to the general ledger.

With Stripe, a firm links a client’s account to the matching QuickBooks Online or Xero company. The AI assistant can read charges, fees, refunds, payouts and subscriptions and prepare period summaries, payout entries and revenue-recognition and deferral journals. Every entry remains a proposal until a person reviews it. If the underlying Stripe data changes before approval, the booking is rejected as out of date, and payouts already in the bank feed are not recorded twice.

The Square integration allows sales and payouts to be booked into the ledger using account and class mappings set by the firm. Changes inside Square, such as edits to customers, invoices or subscriptions, only happen after a person confirms a preview. The Ramp connection is read-only: once a client’s Ramp administrator grants access, the assistant can view card transactions, bills, reimbursements, receipts and statements, but NumbersGame does not create, approve or pay anything in Ramp or store copies of its records.

“The month-end question is almost never inside QuickBooks. It’s in Stripe, or in a Ramp receipt nobody attached,” said Anelya Grant, co-founder and CEO of NumbersGame, who has run a bookkeeping firm since 2011.

The integrations build on existing NumbersGame features for month-end close, reconciliation, bank feed coding, branded client reporting and multi-entity consolidation. Fractional CFO Nicole Jordan-Dahdal of PrismEdge said an operating expense audit across three entities that would normally take days was completed in under two hours.

All three services connect through OAuth on the provider’s own sign-in page, and tokens are encrypted. Each Stripe, Square or Ramp connection uses half a connection credit. Plans start at $59 a month with a 14-day free trial and run on the firm’s own AI subscription. Numbers Game B.V. is based in Amsterdam with a US subsidiary and was co-founded by Anelya Grant and Michiel Janssen.
