Square has expanded its partnership with Live Nation Canada, securing a three-year exclusive agreement to provide point-of-sale and payment processing services across Live Nation’s venues and major festivals throughout Canada.The expanded collaboration builds on Square’s established presence at venues such as Toronto’s Budweiser Stage and Veld Music Festival since 2022. As part of the new agreement, Square’s technology will be implemented at the new Rogers Stadium in Toronto, commencing June 29. This strategic partnership aims to enhance the customer experience by streamlining food, beverage, and merchandise purchases at live music events.Square’s technology ecosystem deployed across Live Nation Canada venues and festivals includes the Square Register for integrated checkout, the compact Square Terminal, and the recently introduced Square Handheld devices, which enable mobile payment processing. Upcoming festivals slated to utilize Square’s services include Veld Music Festival and Electric Island in Toronto; Badlands and Chasing Summer in Calgary; Escapade in Ottawa; and Fvded in The Park in Surrey.
