BillingPlatform, a US-based enterprise revenue lifecycle management firm, announced three executive appointments on August 7, 2026, naming Steven Springsteel as Chief Financial Officer, Rob Zwiebach as Chief Product Officer, and Chris King as Chief Customer Officer, to strengthen its finance, product, and customer leadership teams.
Steven Springsteel assumes the role of CFO, succeeding Brad Sawaya, who departed in June for the fintech retirement benefit platform 401GO after serving for four years. Springsteel’s 35-year career includes CFO positions at Chordiant Software, Sagent Technology, Verity, MarkLogic, Liquid Robotics, Actian Corporation, MetricStream, Better Works, and most recently, Recurly. During his career, he has led two successful IPOs, raised over $400 million in equity and debt financing, and managed numerous mergers and acquisitions.
Rob Zwiebach joins BillingPlatform as CPO, bringing eight years of experience as VP of product and financials management at Workday. Prior to Workday, he spent 17 years at Oracle, including eight years as VP of financial applications and development. In his new role, Zwiebach will collaborate with Leo Solomon, BillingPlatform’s founder and CTO, on product strategy.
Chris King, an internal promotion, has been appointed CCO. King joined BillingPlatform in January as SVP of professional services. His previous experience includes VP and SVP roles at Zuora, Vlocity, Medidata Solutions, and Salesforce.
These appointments are part of BillingPlatform’s strategy to address the “AI-native usage-to-cash market opportunity.” The company aims to expand its cloud-based billing and revenue management software, which automates invoicing, subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and financial operations for enterprises.
