Transfix, a technology provider for freight brokers and 3PLs, has partnered with GenLogs, a freight intelligence platform, to integrate advanced visibility, security, and capacity opportunities directly into the Transfix Transportation Management System (TMS) experience.
This collaboration enables Transfix TMS users to access GenLogs’ national network of roadside sensors, cameras, and AI-powered freight intelligence. The integration aims to enhance shipment tracking, detect suspicious activities, accelerate investigations into stolen or missing loads, and identify new carrier capacity on key routes. GenLogs’ Carrier Sourcing & Compliance functionalities will be embedded within the Transfix TMS, providing brokers and 3PLs with real-world observation data for improved, load-specific carrier recommendations and verification that carriers meet compliance standards, including active operation status to mitigate MC scams.
Jonathan Salama, Co-founder and CEO of Transfix, stated that the partnership seeks to help the industry navigate a volatile market increasingly susceptible to fraud. He noted that integrating GenLogs’ freight intelligence provides customers with a live, visual network heartbeat, detailing freight location, the actual hauler, and potential capacity opportunities, thereby future-proofing operations.
GenLogs’ platform collects millions of truck and trailer images via its nationwide sensor and camera network, combining this data with commercial and open-source datasets to offer real-time insights into truck movements, equipment, and carrier behavior across the U.
S. Through this partnership, brokers and 3PLs utilizing Transfix TMS will benefit from smarter tracking by supplementing traditional milestone-based tracking with real-world sightings, enabling faster responses to stolen or missing loads through investigative-grade asset insights, and richer carrier intelligence for identifying active carriers on specific lanes to build stronger routing guides.
Ryan Joyce, Founder & CEO of GenLogs, emphasized that Transfix is developing a modern TMS tailored for brokers. He expressed enthusiasm for GenLogs’ direct integration into this workflow, eliminating the need for separate fraud or capacity tools and delivering real-time, intelligence-grade visibility within the load planning, tendering, and management process.
GenLogs’ comprehensive database of shippers, receivers, and lane activity offers brokers and 3PLs an alternative method for identifying optimal carriers for particular equipment, geographies, and lane patterns, reducing reliance on traditional loadboard postings. Both companies plan to showcase aspects of this partnership at Manifest 2026 in Las Vegas.
