The company experienced significant global expansion during 2025, with EMEA leading the growth at a 515% year-over-year increase in bookings. The Americas also saw substantial scaling, with bookings up by 125% over the same period. Globally, the number of deals valued at six figures and above surged by 250% year-over-year, while Object First’s customer base expanded by 193% and its transacting partners grew by 215%.
Over the past year, Object First enhanced its product portfolio with increased capacity, new deployment options, and improved security and performance features. Key product developments include new 20, 40, and 432 terabyte (TB) appliances, purpose-built for Veeam, which provide immutable backup storage scaling up to 7 petabytes (PB). The company also introduced Object First Ootbi Mini, a compact immutable storage appliance designed for remote and branch offices (ROBO), edge environments, and small businesses, available in 8, 16, and 24 TB capacities.
Further innovations include a flexible pay-per-use Consumption model, allowing customers to choose between a CapEx purchase or a subscription. Performance and security software updates were rolled out, with Object First firmware version 1.6 delivering 10-20% faster data ingest and restore speeds. Version 1.7 introduced Honeypot, a feature that deploys a decoy Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) environment on a securely segmented part of an Object First appliance to provide early warnings of cyberthreats. Additionally, a beta version of Fleet Manager, a cloud-based application for monitoring fleets of Object First appliances from a single dashboard, was launched.
