Artificial Labs Secures $45 Million in Series B Funding to Expand Global Presence and Enhance Insurance Technology Platform

Artificial Labs, a provider of digital broking and underwriting technology for specialty and commercial insurance markets, has announced the completion of its $45 million Series B funding round to support its growth and global expansion.

The investment round was led by CommerzVentures, a European Fintech investor, and Move Capital Fund I, a European B2B Tech investor. Existing investors, including Augmentum Fintech, 6 Degrees Capital, FOM, and TrueSight Ventures, also participated, signaling continued confidence in Artificial Labs’ strategy.

David King, Co-Founder of Artificial Labs, stated that the funding provides stability for growth, allowing the company to scale at a pace that aligns with client needs. He added that the company possesses the teams, technology, and stability required to support major brokers and carriers in modernizing their operations. Co-Founder Johnny Bridges highlighted the platform’s role in solving insurance industry problems and affirmed that the investment will facilitate team expansion and ongoing innovation, aiming to position Artificial Labs as a preferred choice for digital trading solutions.

Artificial Labs anticipates doubling its size over the next 12 months. The company also plans to expand its global footprint into the United States in 2026, while simultaneously strengthening its presence and leadership in the London Market.

Heiko Schwender, Managing Partner at CommerzVentures, expressed support for Artificial Labs’ global leadership extension, noting that the platform addresses a structural efficiency constraint prevalent in commercial and specialty insurance. Hervé Malausséna, Founding Partner at Move Capital Fund I, commented on Artificial Labs’ combination of deep insurance expertise, client relationships, and innovative technology, stating its ideal position to resolve bottleneck challenges for specialty risk placement players globally.
