Worldpay, a global leader in payment technology, has announced its support for the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), an open standard designed to facilitate AI-powered commerce by enabling AI agents, individuals, and businesses to conduct purchases collaboratively.

Worldpay’s credential management and advanced fraud prevention tools are intended to ensure transactions are secure and reliable, protecting consumer data in a manner consistent with traditional e-commerce.

Worldpay’s credential-management solution offers features such as flexible, acquirer-agnostic token management, automatic credential updates to reduce failed transactions, and enterprise-grade security for sensitive data. This approach aims to help merchants confidently adopt AI commerce use cases.
