Versa Integrates with CrowdStrike Falcon Platform to Enhance Zero Trust Access and SOC Response

Versa, a global leader in Universal Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), has announced new integrations with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, now available in the CrowdStrike Marketplace. These integrations, which include support for Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, aim to strengthen Zero Trust access and provide security operations center (SOC) teams with unified endpoint and network visibility for threat detection and mitigation.

Security teams often face challenges with fragmented endpoint and network data, which can impede visibility and prolong incident response times. The new integrations between Versa and CrowdStrike aim to address these issues by combining endpoint and network telemetry for access control and during SOC investigations, thereby strengthening Zero Trust enforcement, streamlining threat hunting, and accelerating incident response.

The first integration enhances Zero Trust policy enforcement by incorporating dynamic CrowdStrike Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA) scores into Versa’s risk evaluations across its SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and SD-LAN offerings. By leveraging real-time risk posture data from the Falcon platform, Versa can dynamically adjust user and device risk profiles, which is intended to improve security posture, reduce the need for manual intervention, and expedite the containment of compromised endpoints.

The second integration facilitates the ingestion of Versa’s network telemetry into Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. This telemetry covers the WAN edge, cloud environments, remote locations, users, and devices. Falcon Next-Gen SIEM unifies a customer’s broader security ecosystem with CrowdStrike’s proprietary data, native threat intelligence, and AI-powered detection and response capabilities. By processing over 50 types of logs, including firewall events, traffic flows, application behavior, and SD-WAN metrics, SOC teams gain the ability to correlate endpoint and network data within a single platform, aiming to break down data silos, accelerate investigations, and bolster compliance.

Anusha Vaidyanathan, Senior Director of Product Management at Versa, commented on the significance of these developments. “Both of these integrations address an ongoing security pain point – siloed data that limits visibility into real risk,” Vaidyanathan stated. “Combining endpoint and network data where it’s most impactful and at the moment it matters leads to better decisions and better security. That’s why our collaboration with CrowdStrike is so important.”

These integrations are now available through Versa’s presence in the CrowdStrike Marketplace. Additionally, resources such as solution briefs, product walkthrough presentations, and video overviews for both integrations are accessible on the Versa website.
