S. Bank has enhanced its Avvance developer portal, enabling financial institutions and fintechs to offer customizable embedded financing solutions tailored to their brands. This expansion includes new API-driven integration options and has already seen adoption by partners like LendPro, a consumer finance platform.
The Avvance program is designed to facilitate partnerships by allowing institutions to embed point-of-sale financing directly into their platforms. The updated developer portal introduces new API-driven integration options, enabling partners to customize the financing experience to meet the specific needs of their business customers. These options range from low-code implementations to full headless integrations.
Rob Seidman, head of U.
S. Bank Avvance and point-of-sale lending, stated that Avvance “continues to evolve to help our partners grow their business.” He added that by offering a “trusted, bank-built point of sale financing solution that is now customizable,” partners can provide a “more seamless experience for their clients and the end consumer.”
Through Avvance, merchants can provide loans ranging from $300 to $25,000, with flexible terms from three to 60 months. Partners leveraging the program benefit from U.
S. Bank’s infrastructure, including merchant relationships, online banking, disputes, and reporting. The platform offers robust modular APIs and “try-before-you-buy” options, eliminating upfront development investment, and provides access to dedicated solution engineers and strategic advisors.
LendPro, a waterfall-based consumer finance platform for retailers, is among the first integrated partners to utilize these new capabilities. This early adoption aligns with LendPro’s objective to deliver seamless, embedded financing experiences for both merchants and consumers.
Matt Dishman, CEO of LendPro, commented, “LendPro is proud to partner with U.
S. Bank and Elavon through the Avvance program to deliver embedded financing options where they matter most — at the point of need.” He emphasized that “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to innovation, access, and delivering frictionless financial experiences for both merchants and consumers.”
Avvance also provides a dedicated merchant portal offering all program functionalities, such as marketing materials, invoicing, pricing management, and transaction tracking. U.
S. Bank manages the consumer loan application process. These new Avvance features are part of the broader U.
S. Bank Developer Portal, which includes over 40 financial APIs addressing consumer, business, and corporate needs, simplifying integration for developers.
