Teleskope Launches GenAI-Powered Prism for Enhanced Enterprise Data Security and AI Readiness

Teleskope, a company focused on data security for the AI era, has launched Prism, a new GenAI-powered summarization and categorization capability. This new offering aims to provide enhanced visibility, control, and precision over the vast volumes of unstructured data that organizations manage today. Prism is designed to address enterprise data sprawl, particularly in consumer-facing and highly regulated industries, by classifying sensitive data at a business level, such as contracts, employment documents, or IP-related materials, rather than solely at an element level.

By automatically identifying, summarizing, and categorizing key business data across cloud environments, Prism enables organizations to prioritize risks, automate remediation, and prepare data for AI use securely. Elizabeth Nammour, Founder and CEO of Teleskope, stated, “Security and privacy teams today aren’t just overwhelmed by the sheer volume of data; they’re challenged by a critical lack of context that makes it nearly impossible to prioritize and act effectively. Prism fills that gap by delivering a deeper layer of meaning through the fusion of advanced classification techniques, secure GenAI-powered summarization, and scalable clustering. This powerful combination enables organizations to move beyond surface-level visibility, gaining true business-level intelligence about their data. With Prism, teams can quickly pinpoint what data matters most and automate remediation, empowering enterprises to respond faster, reduce risk more efficiently, and accelerate secure AI adoption at scale.”

Built upon Teleskope’s classification engine, Prism employs a combination of proprietary models and fine-tuned open-source large language models (LLMs) to generate document summaries securely. This process avoids the exfiltration of customer data or exposure to third-party systems. Summaries are redacted, embedded in a vector space, and clustered by semantic meaning, facilitating high-fidelity policy enforcement, enterprise search, and automated remediation.

With Prism, organizations gain the ability to customize remediation actions based on document type and business sensitivity, such as removing third-party access to all documents classified as “legal contracts.” It also helps in more effective risk prioritization through classification that considers both data sensitivity and enterprise importance. Furthermore, Prism supports safer AI adoption by enabling the isolation of appropriate training data for internal models, agents, or copilots while filtering out sensitive or low-value content.

Prism is also engineered to support future capabilities within the Teleskope platform, including natural language policy building, recommendation-based remediation, and support for multimodal data formats like images and audio files. Arjun S., Principal Product Manager at GoodRX, commented on the new capability, saying, “This new capability empowers us to make smarter decisions, faster. Prism builds on everything we already value about Teleskope — the automation, the precision, the visibility — and adds a deeper layer of intelligence. We’re better equipped to prioritize risk, cut through noise, and move forward with confidence on strategic initiatives through the use of Teleskope.”

Teleskope’s platform continuously scans, catalogs, and classifies data in-motion and at-rest across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments. Utilizing small language models (SLMs) and generative AI, it analyzes access and risk, and automates policy-based actions, assisting security teams in both detecting and resolving risks efficiently and at scale. Organizations currently trusting Teleskope include Ramp, Legal Zoom, Alloy, GoFundMe, The Atlantic, and Collective Health.
