Oblong, Inc. announced its official corporate name change to TaoWeave, Inc., signaling its strategic evolution into a digital asset treasury company, effective December 10, 2025, concurrently with a ticker symbol change on Nasdaq from “OBLG” to “TWAV”.

The rebranding reflects the company’s new focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital assets. As part of this transition, TaoWeave, Inc. will concentrate its treasury operations on Bittensor (TAO) as its primary reserve asset.

Peter Holst, Chief Executive Officer of TaoWeave, Inc., stated, “This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the business. We believe decentralized AI represents a significant opportunity in both artificial intelligence and digital assets. By building our treasury around TAO as our primary reserve asset, we’re positioning TaoWeave at the intersection of these emerging trends — and providing investors a clear path to participate.”

TaoWeave, Inc. adopted its treasury policy in June 2025, under which the principal holding in its treasury reserve on the balance sheet is allocated to Bittensor (TAO). This policy aims to provide investors with economic exposure to the Bittensor ecosystem and the emerging decentralized AI sector.

A new website, www.taoweave.ai, will be launched to support the transition, featuring key treasury disclosures such as current TAO balances and TAO per share, offering investors transparency into the company’s treasury positioning. The corporate name and ticker changes do not impact the company’s legal structure or existing financial reporting obligations, and shareholders are not required to take any action.
