Synthflow AI has introduced the BELL Framework, an OpenAI-powered lifecycle system designed to address common enterprise challenges in deploying voice AI in production. The framework aims to mitigate risks beyond model development, focusing on operational aspects such as testing, routing, latency, handoffs, and compliance.
The company, which has already facilitated over 65 million calls across more than 1,000 enterprise deployments in sectors including healthcare, insurance, and contact centers, emphasizes that the primary obstacles to voice AI success often lie in the surrounding infrastructure rather than the AI models themselves. Hakob Astabatsyan, Co-founder and CEO of Synthflow AI, stated that enterprises require guarantees regarding AI performance, and the BELL Framework is designed to provide this assurance before customer interaction.
The BELL Framework integrates four distinct stages into Synthflow AI’s platform:
Build: Features a visual flow designer that enables teams to map logic, manage variables, and orchestrate multi-agent systems, promoting predictable outcomes.
Evaluate: Provides a test center that simulates numerous end-to-end phone calls, assessing agents for accuracy, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and task completion prior to launch.
Launch: Operates on Synthflow AI’s proprietary global telephony infrastructure, which delivers sub-100 ms latency and 99.9% uptime, eliminating reliance on third-party vendors for critical performance elements.
Learn: Offers analytics dashboards and granular logs to track every call, webhook, and event, complemented by integrated Auto-QA capabilities.
Large enterprise call centers frequently handle high volumes of repetitive inquiries, such as billing questions, scheduling, and verifications, which can lead to agent overload and extended hold times. Voice AI is identified as a solution, but deployments often encounter difficulties due to complex routing, latency issues, fragile integrations, and inconsistent agent behavior. Sassun Mirzakhan-Saky, Co-Founder and CTO of Synthflow AI, noted that controlling the layers that define performance is crucial for successful voice AI implementation, asserting that BELL makes success repeatable by managing telephony, testing, and orchestration.
Synthflow AI incorporates OpenAI’s GPT-4.1, 5, and 5.1 model family to optimize performance, selecting models with appropriate reasoning capabilities for real-time operations. Eva Spannagl, Head of Startups, DACH, at OpenAI, commented on Synthflow’s use of their frontier AI models and developer tools for creating enterprise-grade, real-time systems that produce reliable, production-ready outcomes.
Founded in 2023, Synthflow provides a no-code platform enabling enterprises to design, test, and deploy AI voice agents in a matter of weeks. The platform supports secure, human-like conversations and integrates with existing telephony and CRM systems. It offers multilingual support for over 50 languages and adheres to compliance standards including SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
