Swimlane, a provider of agentic AI automation for security functions, has announced a strategic partnership with cloud security firm Wiz, integrating its Turbine platform into the Wiz Integration Network (WIN) to deliver enhanced vulnerability response solutions for cloud environments.

This collaboration aims to provide an enterprise-grade vulnerability response solution designed for faster, smarter, and scalable security operations. David Irwin, VP of Product Management at Swimlane, stated, “Security teams shouldn’t have to choose between speed and accuracy. With Swimlane and Wiz, they no longer have to. This partnership empowers organizations to respond to cloud risks with the same velocity and precision that attackers operate with, without increasing operational burden.”

The integration addresses the challenges organizations face with manual processes and siloed tools in cloud environments, which can slow response times and increase risk. By pairing Wiz’s real-time view of cloud risk with Turbine’s agentic AI automation, the solution provides a comprehensive approach to managing cloud vulnerabilities.

Operationally, Wiz identifies misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and exposures across cloud workloads. Turbine then ingests this data, serving as a central source of truth. The Swimlane Vulnerability Response Management (VRM) solution, powered by Turbine, automatically enriches these findings with organizational asset context and vulnerability intelligence. It also allows for customized prioritization, quantifying business impact to enable organizations to focus on high-severity risks and automate their remediation.

The integration also facilitates greater speed and precision in acting on risk insights by leveraging shared context from inventory, issues, and configuration data. This approach connects cloud and security teams through a unified operating model, aiming to eliminate manual bottlenecks and enable threat response at scale.

Oron Noah, VP of Product, Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz, commented, “Swimlane is a natural fit for the WIN ecosystem. By combining Wiz’s real-time visibility into cloud risk with Swimlane’s agentic AI automation, we’re helping security teams move at cloud speed and focus on the risks that matter most.”

Key benefits of the integration include instant action, where Turbine triggers custom playbooks upon Wiz detecting a vulnerability or misconfiguration, moving from detection to remediation in seconds. It also offers context-rich prioritization, correlating Wiz’s native risk-graph with organizational business context to focus remediation on critical threats. Ecosystem-wide orchestration extends Wiz findings, automating ticket assignments across IT Service Management (ITSM) and communication tools for seamless tracking. Additionally, it provides audit-ready compliance by scaling Wiz’s native compliance monitoring to generate reports and maintain traceable logs, alongside targeted remediation management that uses Wiz resource metadata and environment tags for precise actions across specific workloads or business units.

The Wiz Integration Network (WIN) is designed to foster a modern cloud security operating model where security and cloud teams collaborate to understand and reduce cloud risk. This partnership is expected to strengthen the WIN ecosystem, providing value to mutual customers. The one-click integration is available in the Swimlane Marketplace.
