Swiftly Integrates Digital Alcohol Cashback into EG America’s Smart Rewards App

Swiftly, a retail technology provider, has partnered with EG America, a major convenience store operator, to integrate its Alcohol Cashback solution into EG America’s Smart Rewards® app, offering customers near-instant, supplier-funded cashback on beer, wine, and spirits purchases across its family of convenience brands.

This partnership addresses the traditional, paper-based rebate system for alcohol promotions, which often required shoppers to mail receipts and wait weeks for reimbursement. Swiftly’s Alcohol Cashback program replaces this with a fully digital experience, streamlining the process for shoppers, retailers, and suppliers.

Customers can browse active alcohol offers, select deals, and redeem them by scanning their rewards card at checkout, all within EG America’s SmartRewards app. The cashback is then sent to the shopper’s email almost instantly, with redemption options including PayPal, Venmo, or a digital prepaid Visa.

Henry Kim, CEO of Swiftly, stated that the company was founded to help brick-and-mortar retailers thrive digitally. He noted that data from top convenience retailers adopting Alcohol Cashback shows these digital offers significantly increase basket size and deliver value more quickly than traditional rebates. Kim emphasized that integrating this technology into the SmartRewards app enhances EG America’s digital experience, providing savings, strengthening loyalty, supporting supplier partnerships, and yielding measurable results.

The Alcohol Cashback program is entirely supplier-funded, requiring no administrative effort or margin impact for EG America. Swiftly manages state-by-state compliance, validates transactions, and processes funds independently. For suppliers, the program offers transparent performance data and measurable return on ad spend, facilitating more offers and deeper discounts to drive trial and loyalty.

Brian Ferguson, Chief Marketing Officer at EG America, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering value and convenience. He stated that the integration of Swiftly’s Alcohol Cashback into the SmartRewards app provides customers with a seamless way to save, reinforcing loyalty across their stores and enabling them to deliver the expected valuable shopping experience while driving measurable business growth.

The increasing demand for digital savings is transforming the convenience retail sector. Alcohol cashback offers everyday value to shoppers and a distinct loyalty tool for retailers, driving incremental traffic and strong performance. By combining supplier-funded promotions, compliance automation, and digital engagement on a single platform, Swiftly assists top convenience store operators in modernizing their operations and delivering compelling, value-driven experiences.
