The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Index family, published by SS&C GlobeOp, aims to offer transparency on liquidity, investor sentiment, and performance to clients, investors, and the broader market. These indices are based on a diverse and representative set of assets, with data derived from actual and anticipated capital movement information independently collected from all hedge fund clients utilizing SS&C GlobeOp’s administration services. While individual fund data is anonymized through aggregation, the index data is based on the same reconciled fund data used to produce fund net asset values (NAV). Funds acquired through the acquisition of Citi Alternative Investor Services have been integrated into the index suite since January 2017 reporting periods. SS&C GlobeOp’s total assets under administration on its platform represent approximately 10% of the estimated assets currently invested in the hedge fund sector, and the investment strategies included span a representative industry sample.
