SquareWorks Consulting, a provider of accounts payable (AP) automation software and ERP services, has introduced its new International Payments capability. This solution aims to streamline the global payments process, enabling AP teams to manage and execute payments to international vendors directly within their existing ERP suites, mirroring the ease of domestic transactions.
This new offering expands SquareWorks’ comprehensive Payment Automation suite, which already includes ACH and check payment functionalities. The development addresses a common challenge in ERP platforms, which frequently lack native features for direct international payment management, often forcing AP teams to rely on disconnected third-party systems.
Key features of International Payments include real-time exchange rates and payment tracking, SWIFT wire payments to over 200 countries, built-in compliance with country-specific vendor onboarding fields, International ACH support to potentially reduce wire fees, and secure international vendor self-onboarding forms.
The International Payments capability seamlessly integrates with Invoice AI, another SquareWorks product, which extracts and processes diverse invoice formats and currencies. When used in conjunction with SquareWorks Automate, the company’s financial automation platform, these tools provide end-to-end automation across the entire accounts payable cycle, designed to reduce manual labor, minimize data errors, and maintain all financial data and operations within the customer’s ERP instance.
Bernardo Enciso, CEO of SquareWorks Consulting, stated that the new offering is designed to complete their holistic approach to payments by keeping all transactions within the ERP. He emphasized that the solution’s inclusion of both digital and check payments, alongside new global capabilities, aims to provide customers with a comprehensive suite tailored to the multi-faceted financial operations they encounter daily.
