ServiceNow, an AI platform for business transformation, and FedEx Dataworks, FedEx’s insights and intelligence platform, have announced an expanded strategic collaboration to enhance future supply chain operations through the integration of artificial intelligence, data, and workflows.
The partnership aims to combine FedEx Dataworks’ economic and supply chain network data with the automation capabilities of the ServiceNow AI Platform. This collaboration is designed to deliver intelligent workflows capable of anticipating disruptions, optimizing logistics networks, and converting operational complexity into a competitive advantage for businesses.
Initially, FedEx Dataworks will integrate with ServiceNow procurement solutions to offer real-time intelligence regarding supply chain performance. This integration is intended to assist businesses in making informed sourcing decisions, mitigating risks, and achieving faster, data-driven procurement outcomes. The companies state that this strategic expansion marks a new phase in the development of intelligent, resilient, and AI-native supply chain solutions.
At the core of this deepened relationship is a long-term commitment to developing comprehensive supply chain workflows that consolidate planning, procurement, logistics, and network optimization into a unified, intelligent platform. These solutions will feature new agentic and AI-native capabilities for customers. A near-term focus involves integrating FedEx Dataworks’ intelligence, which includes shipment data, route performance, availability information, and disruptive event insights, directly with ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations. This is expected to enable organizations to identify potential supplier shortfalls proactively, enhance confidence in supply chain continuity, and reduce costs associated with operational challenges.
Paul Fipps, President of Global Customer Operations at ServiceNow, commented on the collaboration, stating, “In a world defined by constant disruption, agility isn’t just a competitive advantage — it’s how businesses grow and thrive. These efforts are designed to accelerate the development of future AI-powered supply chain solutions, aiming to bring global agility, intelligence, and resilience. The initial capabilities from this partnership are anticipated to be available within the Source-to-Pay Operations products and solutions in the first quarter of 2026, with a broader phased rollout to follow.
