Sectigo, a global leader in automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital certificates, has reinforced its commitment to India as a strategic growth market through a new partnership with application security SaaS company Indusface and the announcement of its inaugural flagship event in Mumbai. The move coincides with a recent visit by CEO Kevin Weiss to India, underscoring the company’s long-term investment in the region.

The new partnership integrates Indusface’s application security and SSL expertise with Sectigo’s CLM leadership. This collaboration provides Indusface customers with access to Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM), designed to simplify automated certificate management, enhance compliance, and offer future-ready scalability. This is particularly relevant as organizations prepare for shortened SSL/TLS certificate lifespans by 2029 and the transition to post-quantum cryptography by 2030.

Nandini Tandon, co-founder at Indusface, stated, “India’s digital transformation is driving a growing demand for integrated, scalable security solutions that go beyond application protection. Our partnership with Sectigo reflects our commitment to deepening value for enterprise customers by expanding into complementary layers of digital trust and identity.” Tandon added that the collaboration will deliver advanced certificate lifecycle management solutions, helping businesses manage evolving cybersecurity requirements, including shorter certificate lifespans and the quantum era.

Sectigo will host its inaugural flagship event in India, the Countdown to 47 Days Summit, in Mumbai on November 7, 2025. This summit, organized in partnership with Indusface, aims to gather over 100 customers, partners, and industry leaders to discuss key trends in digital trust, crypto agility, and certificate lifecycle management.

Sarabjeet Khurana, newly appointed Country Manager for India & ASEAN at Sectigo, noted that the summit and strategic partnership with Indusface demonstrate how Sectigo is scaling its resources and partner ecosystem to capitalize on opportunities in India. He emphasized that through collaboration, the company is assisting enterprises in strengthening their digital trust infrastructure and preparing for a future with shorter certificate lifecycles and quantum readiness.

These initiatives build on Sectigo’s expanding presence in India, which began with the opening of its Center of Excellence in Chennai in 2024. This was followed by the appointment of an expanded APAC leadership team in July 2025. Sectigo has reported a 33% workforce growth in India over the past year, reflecting its strategy of combining global expertise with local engagement.

Kevin Weiss, chief executive officer at Sectigo, described India as one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies and a critical market for Sectigo’s global growth strategy. He praised Indusface, highlighting their entrepreneurial journey to becoming a globally recognized application security leader trusted by over 5,000 customers across 95 countries. Weiss added that Indusface’s innovation and customer-centric approach make them an ideal partner in assisting Indian enterprises with the shifts driven by shortened certificate lifespans and the transition to a quantum-ready future.

Sectigo actively contributes to industry developments, including sponsoring the CA/Browser Forum ballot that approved the move to 47-day certificates. The company also publishes global research on enterprise preparedness for the quantum era, such as the State of Crypto Agility Report, and provides resources like a 47-Day Survival Guide to help enterprises with automation, compliance, and quantum readiness.
