Saviynt, a global provider of AI-based identity security and governance solutions, has announced the inauguration of its new 62,000 sq. ft. office in Bengaluru, India, designated as its largest global innovation hub and a strategic center for advancing AI-led research and development in identity security.

The Bengaluru facility, which houses over 650 employees, underscores Saviynt’s commitment to expanding its high-value R&D capabilities within India. This expansion aligns with the accelerating pace of cloud and AI transformation in enterprises globally and comes at a time of significant growth for India’s digital economy.

According to Grand View Research, India’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) market was valued at USD 184.8 million in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 583.9 million by 2030, exhibiting a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17.9% from 2024 to 2030. With the recent enactment of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, enterprises are increasingly prioritizing identity and access management. Furthermore, the IndiaAI Mission, launched in 2024, aims to democratize AI and address India-specific challenges, fostering economic and employment opportunities, which Saviynt’s new hub supports through AI-driven cybersecurity innovation.

Teams based in Bengaluru have already contributed to flagship solutions such as Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM), Intelligence, Non Human Identity, and AI security, which are currently deployed by Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide. The new hub will further focus on integrating agentic AI and automation into Saviynt’s Identity Cloud platform. This initiative is designed to enable organizations to secure both human and non-human identities—the latter of which now significantly outnumber human users—while also addressing evolving compliance requirements with enhanced speed and intelligence.

Paul Zolfaghari, president of Saviynt, commented on the significance of the expansion, stating, “India is not just our largest international office, it is our global engine of innovation. With this new hub, we are not only expanding our footprint but also shaping the future of identity security by combining India’s deep talent pool with AI-driven product innovation. From Bengaluru, our teams are building solutions that protect Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide.”

Nitin Varma, SVP and managing director for India & SAARC at Saviynt, added, “India is not just where we build, it’s where we lead from. Our Bengaluru Center powers global identity innovation, customer delivery, and business operations at scale. As Saviynt’s AI Center of Excellence for identity security, it brings world-class products closer to Indian enterprises while exporting innovation worldwide. Equally important, we are investing in India’s talent ecosystem, through partnerships with premier colleges and the Saviynt University program, ensuring India becomes the global hub for the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.” This investment includes deepening engagements with universities, expanding campus placements, and scaling the Saviynt University program, which provides free identity security courses to early career professionals.
