Saviynt, an identity security provider, has opened a new regional headquarters in Dubai and formed a strategic partnership with StarLink, a cybersecurity distributor in the Middle East and Africa, to address the increasing demand for continuous access governance driven by regional cloud and AI initiatives.

Cloud computing investment in the Middle East is increasing, supported by national digital transformation programs, innovation within regulated industries, and the expansion of AI-assisted business operations. This growth has resulted in millions of new online identities, including employees, contractors, applications, workloads, and connected devices. Managing and ensuring appropriate access for these identities has become a primary concern for security leaders.

Todd Rotger, Chief Revenue Officer at Saviynt, noted that many enterprises in the Middle East add thousands of new identities monthly while still relying on manual access reviews and fragmented tools. He stated that this gap is where attackers are effective and that Saviynt’s investment in the region aims to help customers manage this control before potential risks escalate.

As part of this launch, Saviynt will host its converged Identity Cloud platform locally to assist customers in meeting data residency requirements and to enhance support for regulated sectors such as banking, energy, government, and telecommunications. The Dubai hub will focus on customer success, solution delivery, and partner enablement to optimize implementation timelines.

Mahmoud Nimer, President of StarLink, commented on the evolving role of identity in digital trust, emphasizing the need for intelligent, unified control over every network identity. He added that Saviynt provides this convergence without impeding transformation, and StarLink is distributing this innovation across the region.

This expansion follows Saviynt’s growth across EMEA and APJ regions, which includes new offices and leadership in locations such as Singapore, London, Amsterdam, Germany, Iberia, and Poland, alongside continued investment in its India innovation center. Saviynt was recognized as a 2024 Gartner® Peer Insights™ Customers’ Choice for Identity Governance and Administration for the fourth consecutive year.
