Saviynt Enhances Identity Security Platform with AI for Comprehensive Application and Identity Governance

Saviynt, a provider of AI-powered identity security solutions, has announced enhancements to its platform designed to improve the management and security of identities in an AI-driven environment. These updates address challenges related to onboarding and governing all applications, as well as securely managing human, non-human, and AI agent identities.

The new AI-driven capabilities aim to simplify application onboarding and enable unified management of all applications from a single identity security platform. Additionally, the company has extended its Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) to encompass all identity types, aiming to strengthen organizational security postures.

Historically, comprehensive application onboarding has posed a significant obstacle to maximizing the value of identity security programs. A study by Ponemon indicated that nearly half (49%) of organizations do not track their disconnected applications, which can lead to visibility gaps and an expanded attack surface. Saviynt’s new Agentic AI Onboarding for Applications integrates agentic AI to accelerate the integration of both connected and disconnected applications across hybrid environments, allowing every application to be onboarded, governed, and secured under one identity platform.

As AI reshapes enterprise operations, the identity ecosystem is expanding rapidly. Non-human identities and AI agents now significantly outnumber human identities, highlighting the need for robust governance and control. While AI agents contribute to productivity gains, they also introduce new identity classes that can widen the attack surface, often lacking effective management and oversight within organizations.

To address this, Saviynt has expanded its Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) capabilities to cover human, non-human, and AI identities. These enhancements provide enterprises with increased visibility, governance, and compliance. Specific capabilities include ISPM for AI Agents, offering visibility, governance, and audit readiness for AI agents and their components like MCP servers and tools, through simplified discovery, prioritized risk insights, and integrated access maps enriched with signals from security solutions such as CrowdStrike. Furthermore, enhanced Non-Human Identity (NHI) capabilities now feature a unified inventory for all NHIs, their access policies, and detected violations, with support for one-click remediation.

Sachin Nayyar, Chief Executive Officer at Saviynt, stated, “AI is reshaping enterprise security at every level. Identities no longer belong only to people – they now extend to non-human users like machines, applications, and AI agents. Our latest AI innovations ensure that every identity is governed with the same rigor, context, and automation. With agentic AI onboarding and comprehensive identity security posture management across all identities, we’re enabling organizations to stay secure, compliant, and prepared for what’s next.”

Vibhuti Sinha, Chief Product Officer at Saviynt, added, “Saviynt has always been at the forefront of identity innovation. While others are experimenting with AI overlays, we’re embedding AI natively into the fabric of identity security. This isn’t just about adding new features—it’s about delivering an end-to-end, AI-first platform that helps enterprises govern more effectively, scale seamlessly, and confidently embrace the future of digital business.”

These AI-driven capabilities provide unified identity security across various environments, simplifying application onboarding and extending protection to all identities. Saviynt’s AI-powered platform integrates identity governance, application governance, privileged access management, and security posture management. The addition of AI-native features aims to reduce risk, accelerate decision-making, and enhance operational agility. By unifying human and non-human identity security, Saviynt seeks to enable organizations to achieve Zero Trust at scale and ensure continuous compliance.
