Saltus, a U.
K. wealth management firm, has entered a long-term agreement with SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC) to implement SS&C Hubwise as its new integrated wealth management platform, aiming to streamline operations and support its expanding business. The firm, which manages over £9 billion in assets, will service these on the new platform following a competitive tender process.\n\nSS&C Hubwise is designed to scale and adapt with Saltus, leveraging SS&C’s proprietary automation tools to enhance efficiency and improve client reporting and data management. The platform facilitates straight-through processing, simplifies portfolio management, and provides faster account servicing. Additionally, its integrated retirement and investment proposition centralizes account access and management to offer an improved user experience.\n\nThe adoption reflects a broader trend within the U.
K. wealth management industry towards consolidating technology stacks. By migrating to a single, integrated platform, Saltus aims to strengthen operational resilience, establish a more scalable cost base, and provide advisers with real-time access to the data and tools necessary for delivering high-quality client outcomes.\n\nAlistair Stuart, Chief Operating Officer at Saltus, noted the company’s significant expansion in recent years through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. “This growth has increased the scale and complexity of our operations and has required a major change in our operating model as a result,” Stuart stated. “As we looked ahead to the next phase of the business, it became clear we needed a technology provider capable of supporting our ambitions while maintaining the level of service our clients and advisers expect.”\n\nStuart added that SS&C Hubwise offers an end-to-end platform with the automation, resilience, and flexibility required, along with the capacity to support future growth. He emphasized that consolidating activities onto a single platform simplifies the operating model and builds a stronger foundation for sustainable growth.\n\nNick Wright, Global Head of SS&C Global Investor & Distribution Solutions, commented on the partnership. “As the U.
K. wealth management industry evolves to meet changing regulatory pressures and shifting customer expectations, wealth managers will need cost-effective, innovative technology to compete,” Wright said. He highlighted SS&C’s focus on helping firms like Saltus modernize operations to grow efficiently, adapt quickly, and continue delivering exceptional service.\n\nSaltus, established in 2004 as an investment management firm, launched Saltus Financial Planning in 2015. The company currently employs over 400 people. SS&C Technologies, founded in 1986 and headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, is a global provider of services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries, serving over 23,000 organizations worldwide.
