Run Payments, a modern, partner-centric payments orchestration platform, has launched Run Merchant, a new application designed to normalize and orchestrate credit card and ACH payment data across multiple gateways and processors, offering businesses a unified hub for transaction visibility and control.
Run Merchant centralizes payment operations into a single portal, aiming to streamline processes and enhance control for businesses and their supporting partners. The platform enables real-time transaction management across all locations, sales channels, and processors, eliminating the need to log into multiple systems. It supports various payment acceptance methods including virtual terminal, hosted payment pages, and API, catering to in-person, remote, and online sales environments.
The application includes a click-to-dispute manager to track, respond to, and resolve chargebacks directly within the portal. It also provides secure card-on-file and vault tools to facilitate repeat sales for returning customers. Businesses can access in-depth reporting and transaction intelligence, leveraging normalized data from all sources. Furthermore, Run Merchant assists in compliance and cost savings on B2B transactions through Level 2 and Level 3 interchange optimization, aligning with Visa’s evolving CEDP framework. The platform seamlessly connects to leading gateways and processors, such as Fiserv, TSYS, CardPointe, Payroc, and iStream, for both credit card and ACH transactions.
Echo Global Logistics, an early adopter, has implemented Run Merchant. Peter M. Rogers, Chief Financial Officer at Echo Global Logistics, stated, “At Echo Global Logistics, precision and speed are critical to delivering exceptional service for our clients. Run Merchant gives us real-time visibility into our payments ecosystem, streamlines reconciliation across our network, and simplifies chargeback dispute management – all in one platform. That efficiency allows our teams to focus more on serving customers and less on managing payment complexities.”
Rob Nathan, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Run Payments, emphasized the platform’s core mission. “Run Merchant is about making payments simple again,” Nathan said. “Too often, businesses, and the partners who support them, juggle multiple processors, gateways, and reporting tools. Run Merchant brings everything together in one orchestrated view, so they can act faster, resolve issues in real time, and focus more on growth.”
For partners, Run Merchant extends the capabilities of Run Partner, Run Payments’ merchant management, boarding, and residuals hub. This integration enables ISOs (Independent Sales Organizations), ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), financial institutions, and associations to onboard new merchants and automatically provision Run Merchant as part of new accounts, facilitating faster payment monetization. Partners also have the option to embed payment, boarding, and transaction capabilities directly into their own platforms via the Run API.
Power Home Remodeling is another organization utilizing the platform. Dave Genet, Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at Power Home Remodeling, commented, “At Power Home Remodeling, every step of the client journey is designed to be as streamlined and stress-free as possible. By integrating Run’s API-driven payments into Nitro, Power’s internal technology platform, and leveraging Run Merchant, we’ve made the payment process just as efficient as the rest of our remodeling projects. Simplifying transactions for our customers and our teams — while consistently taking feedback to tailor a solution to our needs — allows us to focus on what matters most: delivering an exceptional home remodeling experience to our homeowners.”
Whether processing payments in-store, online, or within integrated software, merchants gain access to competitive rates and interchange-optimized processing through a unified experience. Run Payments describes itself as a modern, partner-centric payments orchestration platform that aims to make commerce smarter, faster, and more connected. Its three core solutions — Run Partner, Run Merchant, and Run Developer — provide tools for account management, payout processing via an advanced residual engine, multi-channel payment acceptance, and actionable reporting derived from data normalization and orchestration. The company serves SaaS/ISVs, ISOs and agents, financial institutions, and association groups, enabling them to embed, monetize, and control payments at scale. Founded by payments veterans, Run Payments states its goal is to redefine how partners and merchants integrate, monetize, and control payments.
